PT 1. Peterborough Panthers

Part 1 of my sports weekend started off at the Speedway match between the Peterborough Panthers and King's Lynn Stars. It was a race which did not live up to my high expectations. This was the first Speedway race which i have seen but i cannot say it was very impressive. £17 for adults to see in the freezing conditions while watching the drivers going around a muddy track.

I now realise that i will not be the biggest Speedway fan there is and that it's not my thing. I did manage to get some pictures at the race which are on my flickr page, all pictures are free to download off there. Next time i would much prefer to watch it at home so i can at least stay warm. It's best i just stick to Football and Rugby, they're a type and i am clearly not it.

I may not like it but as long as it entertains the people who go that surely is the important thing. Peterborough didn't manage to get a win against King's Lynn, losing 40-50 and they play again just a few hours later in the away game.
