Stockport County were the visitors to Moss Lane in this local derby in the Skrill North and they were well beaten; goals from Reeves x2 and Walshaw.
Altrincham came out of the blocks positively and they made the early pressing, which resulted in numerous chances but County did have their fair share of the chances but they failed to convert. Then County were made to rue missed chances as Clee put in a low cross for Walshaw to poke the ball into the net to open the scoring on 42 minutes just before half-time.Half-Time Score: Altrincham 1-0 Stockport County
Altrincham continued the second-half as they started the first with a goal after 4 minutes through Damian Reeves as he headed home from a Densmore cross. Walshaw then had two more chances to extend the scoring. And on 70 minutes Altrincham completed the scoring as Reeves ran onto a long ball from Williams to make it 3-0.
