Wythenshawe Town 0-2 East Manchester
Wythenshawe Town took on Title hopefuls East Manchester FC in what would be the penultimate game of the season. The away team still had a shot at the title and it would come down to this result and Hindsford vs Walshaw Sports. The away team started brightly and their early pressure paid off as they took the lead through a mistake from Wythenshawe's keeper as he sliced it in to his own goal. Then a matter of minutes later the away team went 2-0 up as they continued their pressure. Manchester played well all throughout the first half as they passed well with Wythenshawe looking stunned and struggling to get any chances.
Half Time Score: Wythenshawe Town 0-2 East Manchester
Once again the away team started well and Wythenshawe's
chances were dented another blow as they went down to ten men but they took the game to Manchester after the red card. East Manchester did have chances to put them even further ahead but they couldn't so the game ended 2-0
Full Time Score: Wythenshawe Town 0-2 East Manchester
The away team did not pick up the title after Hindsford won 2-1 against Walshaw Sports. After a tough season East Manchester finished inside the top 2, only a point behind the winners. Roll on next season.
